Guidance on the singing of chant

• An Idiot’s Guide to Square Notes (online), by Arlene Oost-Zinner and Jeffrey Tucker.

• The Parish Book of Chant contains guidance on the singing of chant and the pronunciation of liturgical Latin.

• The Square Note app, available in both Android and iOS versions, is a helpful aid to practice. It enables one to hear the notes while reading the scores of many chants, including the chants for Mass throughout the year.
